Selling a Kitsap County House Fast: PCS Orders, Remote Closings and What to Expect
Kitsap County is our second market, and the sellers we meet there tend to share one thing: a date. Orders to a new duty station. A job that started in Seattle last month. A parent’s house in Port Orchard that nobody in the family lives near. This article explains how Horizon Home Buyers closes a Kitsap sale when the seller is short on time, or not on the peninsula at all.
The PCS problem
Naval Base Kitsap families get orders with a report date, and the house has to be handled before or after the move, rarely in a tidy window in between. Listing means preparing the house, living through showings, and then waiting on a buyer’s lender for a month or more, with the risk it falls through after you have already left.

How the closing itself works on the peninsula
